Performance: Improv in the Galleries—The Second City at the Art Institute

Improv in the Galleries brings Second City performers into the Art Institute, where they build scenes, songs, and characters on the spot based on what they observe in the museum. The free-with-admission event takes place Thursday evening, August 20, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in Gallery 201, on the second floor of the Michigan Avenue side. Space is small, so arriving early improves your chance of a seat (some gallery stools are provided); amplified music and voices are part of the show. No registration needed, but capacity is enforced.
