Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985)

A free outdoor screening of Tim Burton's 1985 debut, *Pee-Wee's Big Adventure*, playing Wednesday evening, August 26, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Canaryville. The 90-minute PG road-trip comedy follows Pee-wee Herman on a cross-country search for his stolen bicycle, encountering bikers, cowboys, and a phantom trucker along the way. English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing will be available. Part of the Chicago 250 series, this is one of many free community screenings happening at libraries across the city.
