Old Town Oktoberfest

The second annual Old Town Oktoberfest takes over Wells Street at Schiller, bringing German food, beer, and music to Chicago's original German neighborhood. From Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 5:00 to 8:00 PM each day, the festival offers bratwurst and pretzels, traditional German bands, and a giant outdoor screen for football. Stein-holding contests (Masskrugstemmen) give attendees a chance at prizes. Hosted by the Old Town Merchants & Resident Association.
