OBOC Young Readers Club: The Lion of Mars

The OBOC Young Readers Club at Toman brings together kids ages 8 to 13 for a book club that pairs science fiction with real-world space science. On Wednesday, November 18, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, the group discusses *The Lion of Mars* by Jennifer L. Holm, a story that asks what it might feel like to grow up on the red planet. Copies of the book are available to pick up at the branch. Registration is required 24 hours ahead, and because the library can’t collect personal information from kids online, a parent or guardian’s email must be used to sign up.
