OBOC Young Readers Club: The Lion of Mars

The OBOC Young Readers Club at the Chicago Lawn branch takes on science fiction this fall with *The Lion of Mars* by Jennifer L. Holm, a novel that asks what it might really feel like to grow up on the red planet. On Saturday, November 7, from 2 to 3 PM, kids ages 8 to 13 can talk through the book with a mix of real space science and plain conversation. Copies are available at the front desk now. Registration is required by October 27 using a parent or guardian’s email address.
