Night of 1,000 Stars

Celebrate adult learners and the organizations that support them at the Night of 1,000 Stars on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Harold Washington Library Center. The evening recognizes the achievements and resilience of adult learners across Illinois, with remarks by Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias. Hosted by scaleLIT and literacy coalitions, this event is free and open to the public.
