Nature Oasis: Community Bonfire at Strohacker

The Nature Oasis Community Bonfire Series brings neighbors together at Strohacker (Howard) Park for an evening by the fire, a low-key way to see the park after dark and meet the people who live around it. The Thursday, November 12 gathering runs from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and includes a short lesson on campfire building for anyone who arrives in the first 15 minutes, plus a chance to learn about local wildlife. Marshmallows aren’t provided yet, but you’re welcome to bring your own and use the roasting sticks supplied on site. Free and open to the community.
