Nature Club: Tree Identification Walk with Openlands

Nature Club heads to Welles Park on Thursday afternoon, October 22, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM for a tree identification walk led by a forestry specialist from the Openlands Treekeeper program. Designed for kids 6 to 13 and their guardians, the session covers tree ID basics and conservation work, plus a hands-on craft making a "tree cookie" name tag. The group meets at Sulzer Regional Library and walks across the street, weather permitting; a guardian must stay with each child and sign a waiver.
