Native Plant Walk & Pollinator Exploration

A naturalist leads a guided walk from the Jeffery Manor library to Marian R. Byrnes Park on Saturday, August 22, from noon to 1:30 PM, pointing out native plants and the pollinators they support — butterflies, bees, and other beneficial insects. The pace is unhurried, designed for noticing how the landscape works rather than covering ground quickly. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Presented by the Chicago Park District; registration is required.
