Nahui Ollin Aztec Dance at West Lawn

Nahui Ollin – Aztec Dance brings a living Mesoamerican tradition to West Lawn Park on Thursday evening, October 1, from 6:15 to 7:15 PM. This Chicago-based ensemble performs Indigenous Aztec/Conchero dance in traditional regalia, accompanied by live percussion, ceremonial songs, and bilingual storytelling in English and Spanish. The program is family-friendly and invites audience participation through movement and rhythm, offering a chance to connect with Indigenous culture and history. Presented in collaboration with Son Monarcas and NOITP, it's a free, low-key evening option for the neighborhood.
