Music and Dance Around the Mediterranean at Ravenswood

Music and Dance Around the Mediterranean brings folk traditions from Greece, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, and beyond to Ravenswood Manor Park on Wednesday evening, August 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The program includes traditional dances, clarinet melodies, percussion and guitar rhythms, and songs sung in Arabic and other regional languages. Attendees can join in learning a folk dance or simply watch from a blanket. Free and open to all.
