Mrs. Dipsworth’s Storytime

Mrs. Dipsworth’s Storytime is a monthly children’s reading series at the DuSable Black History Museum, now in its 65th year as the nation’s first independent Black history museum. Each session features a carefully selected picture book, followed by singing and dancing with Mrs. Dipsworth herself. The December edition takes place on Saturday, December 5, from 10:30 AM to noon, and every gathering highlights a different book and theme around Black culture, community, and respect. Registration is required, and the event is free.
