Mrs. Dipsworth’s Storytime

Mrs. Dipsworth’s Storytime is a monthly series at the DuSable Black History Museum, designed for families with children. Each session features a carefully selected book, along with Mrs. Dipsworth’s signature singing and dancing, to explore themes of Black culture, diversity, and empowerment. The October gathering takes place on Saturday, October 17, from 10:30 AM to noon, and registration is required. The museum, marking its 65th year as the nation’s first independent Black history museum, provides a fitting backdrop for this interactive and thoughtful program.
