Monday Matinee: American Sniper (2014)

The Edgewater branch kicks off its fall film series with Clint Eastwood's *American Sniper* (2014), a wartime drama starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, the U.S. Navy SEAL who became the deadliest marksman in American military history. The 134-minute film, rated R, follows Kyle through four tours in Iraq and examines the toll combat takes on him and his family at home. The screening runs Monday, September 14, from 2:00 to 4:15 PM. Registration is recommended but not required; English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing will be available.
