Mobile Device Technology for Seniors

A practical, hands-on workshop at the Avalon Branch library for seniors who want to get more comfortable with their smartphones or tablets. On Saturday, August 29, from noon to 1 PM, a librarian will walk through downloading the Chicago Public Library and Libby apps, printing from a mobile device, managing passwords, and using built-in security features. The session focuses on tips and tricks for everyday use rather than general theory. Free and open to the public; sign language interpretation is available with 14 business days' notice.
