MLK Jr. Open Mic and Poetry Contest

The Woodson Regional library hosts an open mic and poetry contest on Friday, January 15, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, giving teens 13 to 19 a space to perform poetry, spoken word, rap, or singing in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. All skill levels are welcome, and snacks are provided. A low-key, community-oriented option for a January afternoon.
