Milk and Cookies: Kids Book Club

The Avalon branch hosts an early reader book club for students in grades K through 3, where the group reads together, discusses themes, and plays a related game. Cookies and milk are provided, though attendees with allergen concerns can bring their own snack. The club meets Wednesday, September 9, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, and is geared toward kids ages 5 to 9 as part of Chicago Public Library's Jump into Reading initiative.
