Milk and Cookies: Kids Book Club

An early reader book club at the Avalon branch of the Chicago Public Library, meeting Wednesday afternoon, August 12, from 4 to 5 PM. Designed for students in grades K through 3 (ages 5 to 9), the group reads a book together, discusses themes, and plays a related game. Cookies and milk are provided, though families with allergen concerns are welcome to bring their own snacks. The program is part of the library's Jump into Reading initiative and is free to attend.
