Mexican Independence Day - Art & Dance at Morgan Pk SC

A hands-on workshop at Morgan Park Sports Center that pairs a craft project with a dance lesson in honor of Mexican Independence Day. Kids ages 6 to 12 can make and decorate a mini piñata, then learn the basics of Cumbia dance in a short session. The program runs Tuesday, September 8, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Participants leave with their craft and a bit of cultural context.
