Mental Health Awareness Training
Representatives from Trilogy lead a mental health awareness training at the Avalon on Wednesday, September 16, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. The facilitators live and work in the neighborhoods they serve, so the session carries a personal understanding of Chicago's community dynamics. Participants learn how to recognize early signs of mental health and substance use challenges, respond without stigma, and connect people to professional help and community-based supports. The training also covers self-care and resilience. Registration is required, and accessibility requests should be made at least 14 business days in advance.
