Meet Calvin B. Jones: Make a Mini-Mural

At the Greater Grand Crossing library on Wednesday, November 4, from 4 to 5 PM, families can learn about muralist Calvin B. Jones and the Black Arts Movement, then make their own mini-mural using bold colors and African print designs inspired by his work. The program explores the question of whose murals get preserved, drawing on archival materials from the library’s collection. Presented as part of the Renaissance Project and supported by the Mellon Foundation, this hands-on workshop is open to all ages.
