Meet a Scientist: Spooky Spider Webs

Thomas Marchese, a University of Chicago researcher, uses a Scanning Electron Microscope to reveal the miniature world hidden inside spider webs—the silken threads, the trapped particles, the structures invisible to the naked eye.
