Meditative Hand Quilting

Meditative Hand Quilting teaches participants to make a small quilt using recycled fabric and fabric dyed by artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities from Envision Unlimited. The approach follows your intuition rather than a strict pattern, which the organizers describe as calming and meditative. You're welcome to bring your own fabric to incorporate. The workshop happens Saturday, December 12, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Altgeld in Riverdale; registration is required.
