Medicare 101 on Saturday
A Medicare overview session for people who are turning 65, already enrolled but unsure of their options, or helping senior parents navigate the system. Norwood Park resident and Medicare teacher Nancy De Lira leads the presentation, covering the differences between Parts and plans, Medicare Advantage versus Supplements, Part D basics, and how the Inflation Reduction Act affects coverage starting in 2026. The talk happens Saturday, September 5, from 1 to 2 PM at the Roden branch. Free and open to the public; sign-language interpretation is available with two weeks' notice.
