Medicare 101

A Medicare information session led by Nancy De Lira, a certified Medicare teacher and Norwood Park resident, covering the basics of enrollment, plan types, and how the Inflation Reduction Act affects coverage. The presentation on Thursday, October 22, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the North Pulaski location is aimed at people approaching 65, those already on Medicare who want to understand their options, and anyone helping older parents with their coverage. After the talk, attendees will be able to compare Medicare Advantage and supplements, explain Part D prescription drug coverage, and understand the annual enrollment period running October 15 through December 7. Accessibility accommodations are available with two weeks’ advance notice.
