Medicare 101

A Medicare basics session led by Norwood Park resident and Medicare Teacher Nancy De Lira, aimed at anyone approaching 65, already enrolled but confused about options, or helping aging parents navigate coverage. The Tuesday evening talk, October 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Roden, covers the difference between Medicare parts and plans, how to compare Advantage and Supplement options, the basics of Part D, and how the Inflation Reduction Act affects plans starting in 2023. The timing coincides with the start of the Annual Enrollment Period, which runs October 15 through December 7. Accessibility accommodations are available with two weeks' notice.
