Medicare 101

Medicare Teacher Nancy De Lira leads this workshop breaking down the basics of Medicare, timed ahead of the annual enrollment period that runs October 15 through December 7, 2026. The presentation covers the difference between Parts and Plans, compares Medicare Advantage with Medicare Supplements, explains Part D prescription drug coverage, and looks at how the Inflation Reduction Act affects plans starting in 2023. It's aimed at people nearing 65, longtime enrollees who want to understand their options, and adults helping senior parents navigate coverage. The session takes place Thursday evening, October 1, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Mount Greenwood. Registration is encouraged but not required.
