Make Your Mark: Nature and Watercolor Painting

A watercolor workshop for ages 6 and up, inspired by the work of Indigenous author-illustrator Michaela Goade. Participants draw a nature-themed prompt from a bowl and use it to guide a painting, with Goade's lush Southeast Alaska landscapes and Tlingit and Haida heritage providing the creative context. The program runs Thursday, November 12, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM at Independence Park.
