Make a Rug

A monthly rug-making workshop at Wrightwood-Ashburn, led in partnership with Envision Unlimited, an organization that supports adults with disabilities. On the second Monday of each month — including Monday, September 14, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM — participants learn to create small decorative rugs with all supplies provided, and take their finished piece home. No registration is needed, and the program is free, supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency. Call or email the library at least 14 business days in advance if you need sign language interpretation or other accessibility accommodations.
