Make a Bento Tote Bag

On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, teens ages 13-19 learn to create a Japanese-style bento bag at Merlo. This beginner-friendly sewing program covers pattern drafting, fabric cutting, and machine sewing, with all supplies provided. Participants leave with a completed bag and foundational sewing skills. The event is part of the Radical Fit initiative by Chicago Public Library.
