Mad Science: Movie Science

Mad Science brings a hands-on workshop to the Avalon branch that pulls back the curtain on movie effects, this one focused on the science behind sci-fi. Aimed at ages 5 to 13, the session runs Tuesday, September 8, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, teaching kids a few of the tricks filmmakers use to create on-screen magic.
