Lunch and Chill

A drop-in lunch program for kids and teens at the South Shore branch on Thursday, August 20, from 12:30 to 2:00 PM. The Greater Chicago Food Depository provides lunches while supplies last, and there are games, a movie, or hands-on activities to fill the time. Open to ages 0 to 18, though daycares need to give two weeks' notice to ensure enough food for their group. Call 48 hours ahead if you're only coming for the activity portion.
