Luminary Curator's Choice: Beyond Form—Abstraction at Midcentury

A curator-led tour of *Beyond Form: Abstraction at Midcentury* followed by a reception with bites and drinks, all while the museum is closed to the public. Luminary members can join curator Mel Becker Solomon on Friday evening, October 2, from 6 to 8 PM for an intimate viewing of abstraction as a visual language between 1940 and 1970, featuring works by Ruth Asawa, Helen Frankenthaler, Sam Gilliam, and Yayoi Kusama. Registration is required and costs $50 per person; this is a members-only event, and entry instructions are provided in advance.
