Luminary Close Look: Lee Miller—Fearless

The Art Institute opens its galleries after hours for a Luminary members-only look at the first comprehensive survey of Lee Miller's photographs in more than 25 years. Curator Matt Witkovsky leads an intimate viewing and conversation in Galleries 1–4 on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, tracing Miller's career as a fashion model, Surrealist, Vogue war correspondent, and portraitist of figures like Charlie Chaplin and Picasso. Advance registration is required by emailing luminary@artic.edu; registered guests receive entry instructions before the program since the museum is closed to the public.
