Library Explorers Club: West Town Branch

Library Explorers Club is a new monthly program that visits a different Chicago Public Library branch each time, combining a group walk or run with a behind-the-scenes tour and time to read. On Saturday, October 17, from 1:30 to 4:00 PM, the group meets at the West Town branch. The afternoon starts with an optional run or walk with Read & Run Chicago (a ~12-minute-mile run or a ~20-25-minute-mile walk), followed by a staff-led introduction to the branch at 2:00 PM, then library card sign-up and quiet reading with snacks at 2:30 PM. You can join for any portion and at any pace — no library or fitness expertise required. Registration is requested.
