Library Explorers Club: Jefferson Park Branch

Library Explorers Club is a monthly, low-pressure program that combines a visit to a different Chicago Public Library branch with an optional group run or walk and a behind-the-scenes tour. At the Jefferson Park stop on Saturday, February 20, participants gather at 1:30 PM for a run or walk led by Read & Run Chicago (runs at about a 12-minute mile pace, walks at a 20–25 minute pace), followed by a branch introduction and history from a librarian at 2 PM, then quiet reading and library card sign-up at 2:30 PM. Light snacks and drinks are provided, and you can join for any part of the afternoon. Free.
