Let's Go Fishing

The Fishing Club at Thurgood Marshall Branch hosts its final fishing outing of the year, heading to Auburn Park Lagoon for hands-on instruction in using a pole and picking up tricks for landing a catch. Experienced anglers are welcome too. The group meets at the library on Saturday, September 19, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, then walks to the lagoon. Registration is required; request sign language interpretation or other accessibility accommodations by calling (312) 747-8184 or emailing access@chipublib.org at least 14 business days ahead.
