
Legal English for Everyday Life
A Saturday afternoon workshop at the Little Village branch that teaches practical legal English for situations like traffic stops, tenant issues, workplace rights, and medical communication. Led by Lisa Rousso, a lawyer and certified TESOL instructor who founded SpeakLaw Now, the November 21 session from 1:30 to 3:00 PM uses role plays and vocabulary exercises to help participants build confidence in real-life encounters with the legal system.
