Learn to Lead Climb at Steelworkers

An intermediate climbing class at Steelworkers Park for those ready to move from top-rope belaying to leading. Over a single afternoon on Wednesday, August 5, from 2 to 6 PM, participants learn quick-draw placement, lead belaying technique, and how to clean a route. The class is designed for climbers comfortable at 5.8 or above who already top-rope belay confidently. For ages 16 and up; registration is required.
