Learn Chess Basics for Adults

A free chess workshop for adults who want to go beyond just knowing the name of the game. Over 90 minutes on Friday, September 18, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at the Whitney M. Young, Jr. library in Chatham, an instructor covers board setup, how each piece moves and captures, and what each one is worth. Registration is required through the library system. Accessibility accommodations are available with two weeks' advance notice.
