Learn Chess Basics for Adults

A free chess workshop for adults at the Whitney M. Young, Jr. branch, covering fundamentals: board setup, how each piece moves and captures, and basic point values. The session runs Saturday, August 15, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. Registration is required. Accessibility accommodations, including sign language interpretation, are available with at least 14 business days' notice.
