Lakeview Taco Fest

The 13th Annual Lakeview Taco Fest closes down Southport Avenue between Addison and Roscoe for a three-day weekend starting Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23. More than a dozen local restaurants set up shop to compete for the title of Chicago's best taco, with traditional and inventive fillings available, plus beer and taco pairings. Two music stages keep things lively, and the weekend includes Lucha Libre wrestling demonstrations and family-friendly activities. Attendees vote by text for their favorite taco. The suggested $10 donation supports Friends of Lakeview.
