On Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, join a bilingual multimedia presentation at Little Village that explores how Latine and Latin American music tells the stories of history, roots, and daily life in Illinois and the US. Led by Dr. Catalina Maria Johnson, the program uses slides and music samples to discuss protest songs, celebrations, and decisive moments shaping the Latine presence. This event is funded by Illinois Humanities and is free; registration is active.
