Kid's Sewing Craft

A free sewing workshop for kids at the Back of the Yards branch on Wednesday, July 29, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. A librarian pre-sews a project by machine, and participants finish it by hand using kid-friendly needles—no previous experience required, and all materials are provided. Kids can also bring their own clothing or fabric from home if they want to work on something specific. The workshop is bilingual, with the description also offered in Spanish, and the library requests 14 business days' notice for accessibility accommodations like sign language interpretation.
