Kayak for Conservation

The Shedd Aquarium’s Kayak for Conservation program turns a Friday morning paddle into a guided ecology lesson on the Chicago River. On August 14 from 9:00 AM to noon, nature experts lead the tour, pointing out local wildlife and explaining the river’s ecosystem as you go. Equipment is included, and the trip is designed for all skill levels, though pre-registration is required. Tickets are $65, or $52 for Shedd members.
