Jazz Institute of Chicago presents: Lost in Space with Kevin King
Lost in Space, a concert series inspired by astronomy and how humans relate to the cosmos, brings Chicago woodwindist and composer Kevin King to Manning on Saturday, November 7, from 11 AM to noon. King, an alumnus of the Jazz Institute's Jazz Links program, performs original compositions influenced by Wayne Shorter and John Coltrane, drawing on a résumé that includes playing with Arturo Sandoval, Lauryn Hill, and the Art Ensemble of Chicago. This performance is part of the 2026 One Book, One Chicago season, which explores Samantha Harvey's *Orbital*. Registration is required.
