ISAC Museum After Hours Community Event

Enjoy museum galleries after hours and an outdoors party with music, dance, and refreshments. Celebrate the ancient heritage of the Sudanese community in conjunction with the museum’s special exhibition, The Bestiary of Ancient Nubia. Join us for a special after-hours experience in the museum galleries, where our knowledgeable docents will be available to answer your questions and share insights into the collection. Enjoy a screening of a short documentary featuring three contemporary artists of Sudanese heritage whose works are exhibited alongside the museum’s ancient Nubian artifacts. After exploring the galleries, continue the evening outdoors with music, dancing, and traditional Sudanese refreshments in the space adjacent to the museum. This ticketed event is presented in collaboration with the Masira community organization. Sixty percent of the proceeds will benefit the Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA), and twenty percent will support the American Sudanese Archaeological Research Center (AmSARC). 21096609169
