Introduction to Hand-building Ceramics
In this 2 hour ceramic hand-building workshop, you will learn basic hand-building techniques (pinch, coil, slab) and discuss materials and processes used to create ceramics. We will work with air-dry clay to create a bud vase, trinket dish, and a free choice project as time allows. Projects will require about 2 days to fully dry before acrylic paint can be applied and sealed with mod podge (will be made available at the library). Please note that items created in this workshop will not be food safe or water tight (a glass holder will be provided to make the bud vase).
For Teens and Adults. Registration is required.
