Intro to Wood Burning

A free, hands-on workshop for teens 13 to 19 at the Richard M. Daley branch in Humboldt Park. Drop into YOUmedia on Saturday, September 19 from 11 AM to 2 PM to try pyrography—using heated tools to burn custom designs into wood blocks and panels. The library provides the materials and teaches safe handling; you can draw freehand or use transfer paper to apply a premade design. No registration or cost mentioned, just show up.
