Harsh Readers Circle: Special Event with Author David Wright Faladé

The Harsh Readers Circle, a monthly book group focused on Black literature that has been meeting for 40 years, hosts a special afternoon with author David Wright Faladé on Saturday, September 19, from noon to 4 PM at the Vivian G. Harsh Research Collection inside Woodson Regional Library. The program includes a reading and Q&A from his latest novel *The New Internationals* (the circle's September selection), followed by a social hour with small bites and the group's regular monthly gathering. Set in post-war Paris, the novel follows a love triangle involving a French Jewish girl, an aspiring architect from Dahomey, and a Black American GI. Registration is required for both in-person and remote attendance.
